In 2018, Dirt was interviewed and featured in the fifth issue of Women Artists. Conducted by Alison Baitz, the interview took an in-depth look at our collective structure, our collaborative work and process, and our hopes for arts and culture in the DMV and beyond.

The fifth volume of Women Artists, an annual(ish) publication profiling women working in the contemporary arts, features Alison Baitz, Sister Wendy (Wendy Beckett), Tanya Brodsky, Valerie Chiang, Sharleen Chidiac, Angella D’Avignon, Dirt Collective, Dayna Evans, Ana Leovy, Caroline Tompkins and Xochi Solis.

Edited by Tricia Gilbride and Caroline Knowles. Designed by Naomi Elliott.
